I can't seem to get away from shooting bloody flowers . . I guess you'll just have to put up with it a little longer until I can shoot some other subjects better . .

Anyway, new year and new gear, new energy and less time, all the makings of a great year. Promise to take more, and push for better images too. I've got some new goals and new heights I would like to reach, so it's a matter of getting my head around it then releasing the shutter button !

I Haven't made a post lately. I have been unmotivated, by the fact that images I upload onto blogspot aren't as sharp and clear as they should be from the computer.

Not happy :(

Still, there is a solution, I'll just have to host up the images on some space I have, and link them to my blog here. I'm becoming more nit picky with details, especially if I've worked hard to produce them through the lens, and they disappear via the translation.

My current phase of madness is micro-contrast and trying to deliver an awesome 3D pop to my images, I want that "omg wow" effect, i'm not quite getting it but I am determined!

Click on the enlarged view of this image, the flowers are so small and delicate, but their colours bold and vibrant !

I am undecided on the bokeh qualities of this Takumar lens, the aperture blades are round, but anything wider then F2.8 and it develops an odd shape, which I think contributes to slightly harsh edges shapes - further testing is required !
